1. Progressive Multifocal Lens
♦. Progressive spectacle lenses are corrective lenses used in eyeglasses to correct presbyopia and other disorders of accommodation.
♦. The lens location of the correct addition power for the viewing distance usually only requires small adjustments to head position, because near vision tasks such as reading are usually low in the visual field and distant objects higher in the visual field.
♦. Progressive addition lenses avoid the discontinuities (image-jumps) in the visual field created by the majority of bifocal and trifocal lenses and are more cosmetically attractive.
2. Photogrey Film
Photochromic lenses are light-adaptive lenses that adjust themselves to different lighting conditions. When indoors, the lenses are clear and when exposed to sunlight, they become dark in less than a minute. They are also known as variable tint lenses and are made in various materials like glass, plastic, and polycarbonate. Photochromic lenses are available in both forms- bifocal and progressive. You can choose according to the type lenses and power you wear in your daily routine.
